Pomegranate is rich in vitamins (A , C, E, folic acid) , iron , potassium and fibers, it also has very few calories.Indeed , a pomegranate covers 40 % of the amount of vitamin C and 25 % of folic acid that daily an adult need. It is rich in three different forms of antioxidants ( tannins , anthocyanins , ellagic acid) and the total antioxidant capacity is estimated to be 2-3 times greater than red wine or green tea. In a recent study , it was shown that pomegranate and various berry varieties have powerful antioxidant activity at the cellular level , compared to 25 other fruits tested.

- Make decoction : to 1 liter of boiling water , add 1 cup of pomegranate peel and boil for 3′ .Wait to cool and strain . You can drink one glass 10′ before food , for 15 daysThe pomegranate contribute to the better functioning of the gastrointestinal system .
- Do washes and gargles :The leaves of pomegranate used ,, in cases of haemorrhoids but also for sore throats .In a cup of water , add 8-10 leaves and cook for 10 minutes. For the first case drink it cold before bed and for the second do warm gargles , 2-3 times a day for as long as needed.
